The tech market seems really hot near me still as well, but its based more on local companies and the less volatile (right now) medical technology sector

also no offense to TC but I really dont understand why the recruiting industry is such a huge thing anyway. I dont get what value they add; they just seem like the landlords of the jobs world. Just taking a cut of the pay and not actually doing anything. Its especially obnoxious how for example I have an Amazon recruiter reach out to me at least once a month even though recently failed their coding challenge and am still in the six-month window where Im not eligible to take it again.

for the job I currently have, I had an interview with a recruiter about an hour before my first interview here, the job he had in mind for me was this one. I told him yeah I have that interview in an hour I found it on indeed, thanks for nothing. Dodged a bullet too because theres no recruiter taking a cut of my salary
