You have to know how to game the system. First off, when your not super hungry, order a kids meal through the drive thru and ask for the free ice cream that comes with it right away. Most of the time they don't rip off the free ice cream voucher on the kids meal bag. Boom, free ice cream for later. Next time through the drive thru, order a value basket and mention you have a kids meal voucher for free ice cream that you'd like to redeem. When it comes time to pay, don't give them the voucher unless they specifically ask for it (which they never do). Boom, free ice cream. I have used this tactic to literally get unlimited free ice cream whenever I want there. Also, the prices for combo meals are pretty relatable to McDonalds. I can easily get a shroom and swiss value basket, for example, WITH free ice cream, for $9. McDonald's value baskets are pretty comparable. They are usually around $8-10. And no free ice cream.
