Ideally something turn-based. And I tend to like games that track stats (in-depth) and are like hero builders (or world builders than keep track of individuals which I guess Crusader Kings does?), especially if they have customization. I recently picked up Wildermyth which may meet the criteria I'm looking for. But I also bought Stellaris and Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark too as they looked interesting. I really liked Darkest Dungeon and then games like Brigandine, FFT, Azure Dreams in the past. Wildermyth is really great its not quite the same, but Im playing Griftlands right now and it sort of scratches a similar itch of feeling like youre having a unique narrative experience in a roguelike type situation.
