| Puglia77 07/04/22 5:38:56 PM #31: | I spend my time reading Japanese people type on Twitter about Pokemon, or the Hololive JP Twitter talents. Helps me learn the kanji they use and I'm successful if I can read a full tweet without any help. A month ago I successfully talked with a Japanese person and we typed all in Japanese. I understood what he was saying and I assume he understood what I was saying. Usually the Japanese Twitter peeps type in English if you say you're from America, so I didn't tell him and he just typed only in Japanese. I also follow this guy and I'm still in the middle of doing his course. He recently recommended reading manga with furigana to help learn kanji in context, but the last time I read manga was in 2011 in English.
