Anyways, f***ers that wait until the last second to try and merge just to cause everyone, including them, to stop. Just get over when you see 2 lanes are going to merge instead of trying to cut the line and slowing everything down.

That's actually how merging is supposed to work. Fill both lanes, then alternate. In practice, most people don't know this and some will even get angry when people try to do it right (like you), but it's the better way to do it if everyone cooperates.
