So I do have one nitpick, and honestly it probably wouldn't be too big of a deal if I wasn't playing on insanity but it's still annoying. I don't like that after certain points it forces me to do the collector missions. First it was Horizon, then it was the derelict ship. I get for story reasons and "urgency" but that's also kind of thrown out the window in 3, iirc. Where you obviously need to stop the Reapers in 3, but first let me do this, and this, and this....oh, and also this.

It's just easier to mark it a priority but still give me the option to do it when I want to do it. Once again, being on Insanity makes it a tad bit more annoying than it should be if only because the enemies just completely melt me. If I had the chance to actually choose to go to these missions instead I could finish up the rest of my upgrades in the research center and at least get a little bit more of an edge.

After many trial and error runs, and selecting Sniper Rifle training, I was finally able to get off that damn ship. Overall, still a very fun mission. You get confirmation of some things stated in Mass Effect 1, where it was hypothesize that the Protheans were enslaved in addition to being wiped out. So it's nice to see that connection.

Afterwards went to go recruit Tali. I wish they did more with this dark energy hypothesis. The demolition on the fallen pillar is kind of dumb too, just because...they could easily climb over it? But that's just video gamey stuff. I was once again raging at this mission too as I got destroyed by the Geth when trying to keep Reegar out from fighting so I could save him. Was finally able to get close to the Colossus and was gonna nuke it from my heavy weapon, killed it, but then I died at the same time due to a last second shot by the Colossus. After many more tries was finally able to recruit Tali, and saved Reegar.
