It is obvious he has no passion for what he does and only does it because he doesn't want to work a traditional 9 to 5 job. That shows through in his work and makes it less appealing. Jon only does videos when he feels passionate about it. Sure, he makes a ton of money doing it but you get the feeling he would still be doing it even if he was pulling in only a couple thousand viewers (just with much lower production quality).
