I'll never understand why people care so much about abortion. If someone wants to do it, let them do it, I say. It's none of your business.

I really wish Id written down who posted this, but it was someone here, so if you see this and its yours, please take credit.

The freedom in the "free society" that Republicans want is really the freedom to amass individual power, unchecked by any authority, in order to establish their own authority over other people. Once they have authority, they also want the freedom to hurt anyone they consider "below" them in the social hierarchy, which boosts their self-confidence and confirms their dominance in their own minds.

Republicans in a general sense hold ideals that are very in line with Christofascist Patriachal white supremacy, so the hierarchy they are aiming to create is white Christian men at the very top, Christian men of other ethnicities who acknowledge their superiority below them, women to return to the Biblical concept as extensions of their property, and the elimination or enslavement of all other religious groups and LGBTQIAP+ people. That religious extremism has come this far and become so ingrained into the governmental power structures is a complete travesty.
