So the wife and I have been fighting for the past 2 years. The pandemic really put a strain on our marriage. She feels like I don't respect her work as much as I respect mine. Because I call her psychology work a soft science. I do respect her and her work. And what she does is vital. She really helps people. She thinks I resent her because she makes more money than I do, but I really don't care. When she does well we do well. And I don't want you to think I'm perfect. 5 years ago I cheated on her during a rough patch in our marriage. I'm no saint, but we worked past it and she said she forgave me. But now when we fight she will randomly throw that in. I fucking hate that. Like, the marriage is done.

That is until I read you joke. I showed it to her and she laughed for 7 minutes straight before telling me she loves me and we can work through anything. We're going back to counseling. I'm committed to making this work.
