A majority of US-consumed nuts (including 100% of the almonds) and fruits are grown in Cali, but Im not sure about the total US-consumed food that comes from the state. The Electoral College protects all 50 states voters. It protects Maine and Nebraska voters more than the other 48, because theyre the only two states that dont do the winner take all crap.
