Watching this from behind the scenes the entire time has been a fuckin trip. I thought Wish might be popular with this group, due to things like 80s toy nostalgia and a good sense of humor, but thought it'd be too out there to take the victory (at least, I thought that BEFORE seeing Deloused take a huge early lead. But list after list, I don't think Wish ultimately moved out of the top 5 at any given point. The others, however, jumped all over the place. Going into this I would've bet money on Zygote landing nowhere near the top like it did, and I actually really liked it! The funniest thing here, the top 2 rankings (Wish and Zygote) both worked together on last year's Psycho Goreman, with Wish's Steven Kostanski directing it and Zygote's Chris Nash as Creature Effects Supervisor! (This is your sign to go watch Psycho Goreman, it's a trip and one of the best horror comedies in a decade).

I know this was ultimately only 2 films worth of time commitment, but ranking 52 of anything is a hell of an undertaking, so I really want to thank everyone here for participating. When I proposed it as a side topic to Snake's 2010s Horror, I expected maybe like 4-5 participants would go for something so weird and niche, nowhere near what I ultimately got. Special thanks to Snake for running the 2010s Horror and inspiring this into even being a thing. I've had a blast running it and hope to see you guys in the next watchathon ranking!
