I'm in for the changes given the hands the game is on. Like, it's not a desire for a "classic FF game" that has me uninterested in this. It's the desire for a good game. FF 12 was ok. FF 13 series was hot garbage. FF 15 was a half assed mediocre proof of concept at best. This is sounding like more of the same. Compare that to FF 4-10 where every game is still critically renown as some of the best in the genre (well, 8 is pretty divisive but even it's above average). I'm fucking tired of change for the sake of change. Hell, I'd be ok if they spent a few years taking FF 15's game play and polishing it into a great thing rather as long as the end result was quality instead of whatever hell this is going to be --- If it was about babies we'd have universal maternal care.
