Return of the Jedi is still good but its worse than Empire and every single entry in the film franchise has been significantly worse than that. All the tv and videogame stuff is either also trash or would be good (or better) as original IP. Star Wars fandom doesn't suck because they're whiny nerds. It sucks because its centered around an empire of garbage and adult childishness. If people over 40 couldn't pay for Star Wars media/merchandise then it would die and that's bad for media that should be consumed primarily by children. Star Wars also is not the worst fandom. All fandom is terrible once its big enough. Sonic fans suck. Anime nerds suck. LoL fans suck. Comic book nerds suck. Sports nerds suck. MAGA nutjobs suck. TikTok "socialists" suck. They all suck. ...
