Deftones were a Nu Metal band and quickly became only Nu Metal adjacent and then quickly became their own thing and really worth checking this album and Koi No Yokan out imo. Deftones have pretty much always grown while not leaving their past behind. Bloody Kisses is tongue-in-cheek gothic doom metal at its finest. I like a lot of their stuff better but this was a big album for them and it has no chance of winning the poll but I love them and felt like having them show up. --- Donny: Are they gonna hurt us, Walter?
