IIRC from the discussion last game, standard B8 Hider is the one where the Hider dies if they target scum, regardless of whether scum actually targets the Hider or not. Red's variant from last game doesn't die immediately when hiding behind scum. Instead, if scum targets the Hider while that Hider is hiding behind scum, the Hider's redirection powers fail and the Hider gets killed instead of their target. The former has pseudo-scanner/redirection powers.
