I like the dichotomy of the countries in this. Aefrost - Meritocracy, but it goes as far as (likely) murdering those who prove more skilled than yourself to assure your position. Also just a lot of proving yourself worthy will be fucking over others. Hyzante - You aren't wont for anything so long as you do exactly what you are told to by "The Goddess", AKA one guy who is the only one who can speak for the Goddess. Glenbrook - Generally kinda free depending on who your lord is and what THEY want. Rulers seem pretty decent so far but that can obviously change with the flick of a switch.
