All the Money in the World famously fully replaced Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer mere days before release, and it mostly wasnt even edits, they fully reshot his scenes. Not only did the movie release on time, it actually wound up being pretty good and Plummer got an oscar nomination. It can absolutely be done, it just costs a lot of money. And frankly it should be done, because I have a hard time seeing The Flash get released as is with the current situation ongoing and they shouldnt be promoted even if the studio decided it was viable to release it. --- I just decided to change this sig.
