They aren't drawn to look that young though, if they are even supposed to be those ages in the Disney movies in the first place. Not to mention those were typical marriage ages for the time period the movie takes place in so its in-line with societal norms of its setting. Meanwhile the two girls may be 14, but they clearly look significantly younger.
