I think that's true to an extent but still in a sociopathic way. These guys don't give a shit about their own children. They care that something was taken away from them. Now they want to do the same.

I can't remember where I read or heard it but something as minor as changing the babies diapers alone means the father is less likely to kill their kids. These guys are just outright pieces of shit.

This case reminds me of that one in Australia where the guy drove his car into the dam with his kids strapped into the back. He got out the car and they drowned. He then specifically went to his ex-wifes house so he could tell her the news to her face. Despite this she believed it was an accident for years. It didn't hit her until she realised he never replied to her letters or bothered to talk to her when he ended up in prison.

These stories are just so fucked up.
