Good for the mother for standing up for her daughter, even if murder is a bit much. I also like the use of lag to add creepiness and anticipation. The acting and script are great all around too. tomnook Good found footage short. Cheaters receiving justice. And a fully nude female killer is a win. Inviso This is an interesting found footage movie, because its definitely creepy, and you get your staple dickhead who treats everything like a joke (and is subsequently murdered), and it manages to get the whole money shot in, in just a short amount of time. Its a little weird that a guy would Facetime his girlfriend after fucking a mother/daughter prostitute duo, but hey, it gets the plot going. At least Dylan goes first. Suprak I had kind of a hard time ranking this one. The ending is creepy enough, but it sort of caps out at a certain because I was hoping the two douche bags would die anyway. The womans screams on the other end of the phone are solid and the way the old woman looks into the camera at the end is genuinely unsettling. Her sneaking up on douchebag 1 is great and this is another short that plays with the powerlessness of seeing something terrible happening but not being able to help. Im not usually a fan of found footage horror like this, but it sort of works here because of how short it is. You get the introduction, the build up, and then the scare all in a couple of minutes and you dont have to deal with all that boring padding where nothing happens in the middle like most found footage films. Another one in the second film I thought did a pretty good job at packing a quick little punch and then getting out of the way. jcgamer It was good John this basically feels like a shorter, kinda dumber version of one of the V/H/S shorts, which are already kinda dumber and shorter than real horror movies Snake Meh - guy is an asshole, gets killed, someone on the other side of the phone panics, its whatever plasma Hahahah! Was this one cut from V/H/S? It was clumsy, ridiculous, and melodramaticso bad that I burst out laughing anytime someone got attacked. And you gotta love that the phone-camera catches everything at convenient angles. Way to commit to realism.
