Topic	Oh my god amazon is modifying my files I put on the kindle in a scary way.
blu 05/30/22 8:02:37 PM #1:	Starting a month or two ago, if your kindle is connected to Wi-Fi, all new USB -loaded books will be checked out and have their covers forcibly removed before they will display, coverless, on your kindle. You have to then update metadata a second time for it to work (assuming thats what calibre is doing). But, books load just fine on airplane mode. Only when you connect to internet it starts.
