Seems like they are winning and you are losing.Not really because the truck will get reposessed and that person will rightfully have an absolute trash credit score. That is the system working correctly. Deciding to write off the debt because "they feel really bad about their choice" breaks the system and makes pretty much all of society pointless. The problem here is you can't really repossess an education, no matter how useless it was. Doubly so for the vast majority of these people that just straight up dropped out of school because "class was too hard man" --- Props to azuarc, the current Guru of the Decade.
