Imagine being PROUD of wasting tens of thousands of dollars on a useless degree, and then bragging about avoiding paying back the debt. If you sat there and made the conscious decision to get an "English Lit" degree, you are no different than the person that is making minimum wage but still wants an $80,000 pickup truck, and takes out loans they can't repay to do so. Isn't that person winning? They got the educational experience they wanted, and then they got the expensive truck they wanted, and they didn't have to pay for it. Instead, you get to pay for it.
