Topic	I'm watching pre-Brosnan Bond films for the first time

So his name doesn't have the same pull as the other Bonds. Plus he was never a famous actor like the rest either. Lots of people talk about the movies based on the actors, like the Connery era or the Bronson era, etc. Lazenby slips right between the cracks. Oh yeah, I'll also mention the 1967 Casino Royale. That's a batshit insane movie. Once you've seen enough of the earlier Bonds, if you want something really crazy, give this a try. It's one of my favorite movies. It's a glorious mess. It also has the first female James Bond! Ever seen the Flint movies. They're great.
