Topic	Don't name a video game after the main character if you plan on making a sequel

That is just a rumor. The real reason is they were looking to have an alliterative name with "Fantasy" in it, and Fighting Fantasy was already trademarked, so they went with the next best thing. Similar to how Dragon Quest got changed to Dragon Warrior in the US because Dragon Quest was already used by another RPG here (then subsequently it got changed back when they got the rights to the name in the US). --- After 16 years, I have decided my signature will NOT be about my job!
