For people not caring at the time, yeah, I can believe that. There are a few very vocal pro-trans voices on the board right now, but the board has historically always been pretty transphobic. There's probably a statue of limitations on how long you're supposed to be upset at someone for saying one offensive thing. Especially if it was just about ten years ago and the person was young at the time. My definition of young is under 25 though. That's the age where the average human brain finishes development. I'm also probably extremely lenient on people when it comes to offensive language since there isn't much (if any) language that personally offends me. Although obviously I can sympathize with others who are upset, I can't actually feel the genuine experience of being offended myself.
