Telling someone there isn't a twist is a spoiler for an M Night Shamadanz movie I'd argue that it's always a spoiler, since you're effectively saying "nothing about the story changes from your first impressions" and therefore indirectly telling them the entire plot. That said, having a story with no twists spoiled isn't overly meaningful, and if anything saves people from wasting their time if they don't like how it starts, so I wouldn't expect most people to mind that. --- This is my signature.
