But this is actually so fucking gross and Biden and his administration are fucking assholes. What is throwing MORE money at them going to do to improve the obvious issues with them? What training do they need to solve their systemic issues that they can't allocate the already bloated funds they have to focusing on THAT?
Christ alive, this asshole went into this election promising to fix the systemic issues with cops, provided NO suggestions or solutions until he was finally pressed on it and went "We just got to teach them to shoot people in the leg, Jack!" And he pretends now like there is no problem with the law enforcement. It's no longer an issue! Just hire MORE cops and spend MORE money on this broken fucking system that oppresses people. The issues with it are no longer an issue to them because he got the election.
Throw literally any thunder or fucks to give at ANYTHING else right now. ANYTHING. Just something other than we need more policing while people are dying of Covid and women's rights are being ripped away and babies can't get formula and inflation and the environment.

I don't follow this pearl clutching. The problems with police in the US are the lack of accountability and oversight. The only fixes for these problems are busting of police unions which exist for the sole purpose of protecting bad cops, and enforcing body cams with incredibly strict requirements, so we have an accurate log of any interaction. Both of these solutions require additional money, especially since so much money has been allocated to useless "mental health" snake oil salesmen
