If you have a full cart, you wont be faster since you have to do everything yourself. Depends on the store, too You have to open the bags, scan and bag every item, and then put the bag up. When you go to a regular cashier, you can just out items on the belt, by the time you finish, most items have been scanned and bagged, and you can start taking the bags. Its basically you do everything yourself, or split the work assembly line style Which would be faster than by yourself hypnox posted... I refuse to use self checkout. I like keeping people employed.
