KCF has beaten Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

My entire experience with Star Wars up to this point is three video games from the 90s and 00s (Shadows of the Empire and the first two Battlefronts). To that degree, since I was never a fan of the franchise, the story and its characters just didn't do much for me, and I expected as much going in. As someone who would not claim to be a fan of souls-like games, this was one of the more interesting ones from a combat perspective. While still being sluggish and unweildy at times, I largely adapted to it. I found fighting creatures to be a lot more fun than the human or humanoid ones. I think the exploration aspects of it were probably the best part, but unfortunately the souls-like design choices that utilized that made it not worth trying to search for everything on a second or third trip.

I think Respawn did a good enough job here given it combined a genre I have a hard time getting into and a franchise that I don't have much interest or experience with. I still vastly prefer their earlier/concurrent works in Apex Legends and the Titanfall games, but I wouldn't be opposed to playing a sequel (assuming it also came to EA Play lol).
