Oh hey here's something new but not really. Kinda wanted to re-do the best systems thing I did a few years back but that took too fucking long and featured a lot of shit people here didn't care about (Literally ran a Best XBOX 360 Game tournament). So I'm just compressing them by generations. Thought about starting straight from 3, but figured why not open the floodgates to earlier games as well, so the title isn't as zesty but that's okay. Use these lists:

RULES before you dump any nominations on me.
- You have 15 nominations to use.
- 4 nominations will lock a game, but further nominations can improve seeding if you care about that.
- Games can only be nominated once. I can't think of any game from this era which would fall into this type of category, but multiple versions/upgrades of the same game should be lumped into their definitive version of the generation.
- Only nominate games from this generation. Random unlicensed retro projects designed specifically to be played on these old systems are fine, I suppose, so long as nobody gets annoyed by this.
- I am setting a completely arbitrary date for arcade and computer games to have needed to come out from The Beginning of Time to 1988. Go by original release date for it's initial region. So even if something didn't come to America until 1989, it's fine so long as it was officially released in 1988 somewhere in the world.
- Some games from this era had pretty substantial differences between versions without any real consensus, so please specify in an instance like this. If there is one obvious version that people would want (Like Arcade Pac-Man over it's console ports), you do not need to make a distinction.
- I do not know if these rules are actually good or necessary, as I did not focus test this. If you think the rules are bad and need editing or additions, bring it up and I will probably be okay with looking into it unless I don't like you. If I don't like you, still bring it up and I will look into it. I would like to believe I am not that pathetic.
- No begging people to nominate your stuff, that shit's annoying.
