I can't seem to proc Meteor Black Comet Dragon's effect. This one:

"If this card is sent from the Monster Zone to the GY: You can target 1 Normal Monster in your GY; Special Summon it."

My MBCD is a regular GY visitor. Yet I never see that effect prompt. Is there something I'm missing??

Is it actually being sent from the monster zone as a monster? Being detached as an Xyz material doesn't count as being sent from the field to the GY even though the materials are physically in the monster zone under the Xyz monster. Aside from that, you may not have a legal target for it in the GY (remember, it has to be a Normal monster, as in no effect and not one of the extra deck types like Fusion or Link) or some other card effect might be preventing it from activating. I didn't see any posts on the Master Duel subreddit talking about a bug with the card when I searched, so I don't think that's the case unless it's a brand new bug with the most recent update.
