So this new girl started earlier this week, and on her first day my buddy (who is always trying to be my wing girl) talked to her a bit and then later told me about her and thought we would really get along. Fast forward to yesterday when I 1st met her, I was training her and we just got along great right away like my buddy predicted. She was making a lot of eye contact and standing super close, like in my personal bubble close, and at the end of the shift she gave me her number and texted me when she got home with a smiley face.

After she left I was closing with another one of my coworkers and I asked her what she thought of the trainees (we had a few trainees on) and she told me what she thought of them all then asked what I thought about my trainee. I told her the trainee was really nice and she said that it looked like we had some chemistry so asked her if she was single for me (gotta love friends that lack any subtlety).

If my coworker didn't say anything I probably would just assume she was being nice.
