I wonder if the fact that Depp is an actor played a factor in deciding not to let him read out his own texts earlier in the trial. He is literally a professional at reading lines out loud so there's a risk he'll read them in a way that both sounds natural and favourable to himself. --- My bracket looked like random picks compared to his.
