@NijiSimps

Tied for First Tier, Okay?

Enna : She has an amazing singing voice and I love her acapella videos that she used to release more frequently in the past... but I don't think I've seen as much recently? Listening to her tell stories about weird stuff that happened to her in her real life is seriously amazing. She is such a funny storyteller but also makes the stories really interesting to listen to, even if it's a story about nothing happening.

Millie : Highly entertaining. I think her and Enna often get closely associated together and honestly it's tough for me to even separate them. I feel like Millie's humor is both more crude and less refined, but when you're in the mood for that... there's nothing else like it. Nobody else, not even Enna, truly delivers the Millie Parfait experience.

They're Really Great Tier

Alban : I think he's great. One of the funnier male members in my opinion. He seems to always be active in the types of collabs and clips that are right up my alley. He has that sort of distinctive laugh and energy that is similar to what made me love Selen at first. But unlike Selen he seems to have more of a handle on it and doesn't overuse the laugh or the energy.

Shu : I think I like him for very similar reasons to Alban, and it may take a while for me to mentally separate them enough to rank them fairly. Similar to Enna and Millie, although in the case of the two girls it's more because they really do associate with each other in a more active sense. Anyway, I think I like him slightly less than Alban right now, but I like them both a lot, and for the same reasons.

Elira : She has a GREAT voice, and a very good personality for a streamer. One of the few where I have turned on streams of her doing random things, even things that I don't particularly care about, just because Elira was the one streaming it. She's not as bombastic, funny, or "entertaining" as some of my higher rated members. But the fact that she is so watchable without needing to meme or constantly crack jokes, really shows her strength.

Show Your Appreciation Tier

Finana : She is sort of a prototype character for what Millie and Enna would later establish and refine. And in a very typical fashion, I do think the 'students' have already surpassed the 'master' in ways. Finana feels a little bit more like someone who is clearly awkward, and sometimes feels embarrassed to reveal some of the details about herself. She still has that comedic delivery of saying or doing inappropriate things out of nowhere, but I think Finana would appeal more to someone who likes to tease the concept, play innocent at times, and toe the line... while Enna and Millie are more about appreciating performers who have no shame, and don't hold back at all. For me, I prefer the latter. Still, she was one of my favorite, if not my favorite, NijiEN member for quite a while.

Petra : Petra to me is one of those streamers who is fairly entertaining, but I always get the sense that at times her chat generates more content than she does. There are so many Petra clips that are basically just her reading and responding to things that her chat says or comes up with. That being said, I've watched a stream of her playing music and it was fantastic. I wish she would do more streams like that. It left such a strong impression on me that, combined with the fact that I -do- like her, I still rate her pretty highly.

Nina : I think Nina is doing something really amazing, and I think she is doing an amazing job at it, and it's just not quite entirely for me. I don't think I'm the target demographic. Now she does have some GREAT clips. When she's funny, she's funny. I love her shorts. But her typical streaming is tough for me to watch. She's like the opposite of Elira where, even when she's streaming something that I SHOULD be interested in, I don't... really... want to watch her. Though I'll still laugh at the clips of the best moments if/when they are released.

Pomu : She's good. I might consider her for rounding out the bottom of my tier for livers that I don't actively watch, but do appreciate. I feel like all of Gen1 were a little bit out of their depth and gave this impression they didn't know exactly what to do, for a while, and it was interesting to watch them figure it out in real time. At this point I do enjoy the chaos surrounding Pomu, and her reactions to it, but I wouldn't call her one of my favorites.

Sonny : Okay, I lied. Sonny needs to go just below Pomu here. I have watched a few of his streams and I like him. He's very quiet and there's basically a 0% chance I would ever feel agitated or annoyed while watching or listening to him. But he never seems to stream at the time I watch things, or maybe Youtube just doesn't recommend his streams to me anymore, and honestly there's been a few times where I saw he was streaming and was just like 'ehh.... nah. I'd rather focus on doing X instead' I don't see him in collabs much, and I don't see him get clipped much either. If I want to compare him to a Hololive member, he reminds me of Luna. He's like, off in the corner doing his own thing, feels very separate from the NijiEN experience, and you could probably forget he exists if you aren't interested in watching his content. I would hazard a guess that like with SubaChocoLuna, he has a few close members that he does collab with at times, but I really never see him in the bigger groups, at least not the ones that pop up in my field of view.
