There's more to the failure of Solo than fan disinterest/oversaturation. Notably, the mishandling of the entire project and basically having to start over. Combine that with it being so close to the release of The Last Jedi, the divided reception to TLJ, the general "Nobody really asked for this...", people hating/skeptical over the actor choice and and Solo was destined to fail. --- The name is wackyteen for a reason.
