Maybe I should give vanitas another try. I think I just watched the first episode or maybe it was two but I didn't really enjoy it. Kinda figured it only had a high score for being fujo bait.

Also finished silver spoon season 1. It was pretty good aside from my earlier nitpick. I think it's fairly ingenious what they've done with the main character and the theme of the show. He has no idea what to do with his life but knows he doesn't want to do what his father had been pressuring him to do. That sets up a theme of finding meaning in your life and the setting plays to it perfectly. We have the people inheriting farms with big dreams and strong convictions that our main character feels jealous of but comes to understand and the animals whose life seems to be like his old life, entirely controlled by others with no freedom or purpose, that he struggles to find meaning in. It let's him see his own issue from so many different angles through the setting and people around him and really makes the setting a vital part of his character arc instead of just a cool or unusual place.
