Only listened to Dramatic Turn of Events, and that one was easily disposable to me. I feel like the best way to look at it is that the band tends to excel when they share the writing. Petrucci is godly but really needed to let the band do more. No surprise They made a choice to allow everyone to have a song on DoT and its great.
