The entire plot of Donkey Kong Land is DK claiming that he could get the banana horde again on weaker hardware, and Cranky Kong goes "bet", calls K Rool, and they have an adventure on the Game Boy. Additionally, he has a Switch on him at all times as of Tropical Freeze, meaning that he actively has controllers to change the ports of. This is a terrible match-up for Mantis.
