What We Do in the Shadows (was trying to limit comedies on the list)
Shin Godzilla (while kaiju definitely has a place in the horror landscape, and this film absolutely highlights the horror of Godzilla, I don't think it gelled with the list as a whole)
Annihilation (more suited to sci-fi)
Suspiria (too niche / long)
Doctor Sleep (box office bomb)
