So with the unofficial scans coming out now, I think I'm happy with this result.
It does make the WG look like complete idiots though, because if they knew it so dangerous Luffy should have been sought after as soon as that information was known, but I'll let that slide just because it's an absurd powerup.
Well....we've seen Shanks meet with the Gorosei before. there could be something we don't know, like maybe they intentionally wanted Luffy to awaken the fruit and sent the CP0 to unknowingly carry that out. could be that joy boy / nika's return is necessary for some ulterior motive
