I liked the clip well enough but yeah it wouldn't have really fit in the movie well. Especially since his face is so blurry. I don't think there's enough to really go on when it comes to his performance either. This is a rather tame interaction between him and Batman all things considered.

Also I don't really get people wanting Phoenix to be in the role for these movies. Like he was great in his movie but that interpretation of the character doesn't really fit in a proper Batman saga even if we disregard the timelines.
