My school was walking distance from my house, and my parents let me walk at the time (small town but still kind of crazy in modern context). I got to school, and I was the only one in class (lmao). My teacher was there, and I told her "A plane hit the building in New York City!" and she told me "It was two planes. Another one hit the other building." and I was like "Oh."
