Boba Fett is there because that's where he fell into the pit. Obi Wan is there because that's where he lives. They're not really being gratuitous about it. I will say though, even as someone who hasn't watched Clone Wars or Rebels, the Grand Inquisitor looks like garbage. No effort was put into that makeup.
