Topic | Just compared the 16:9 netflix seinfeld to my 4:3 DVDs of seinfeld |
Robot2600 03/12/22 2:09:06 AM #30: | Mass Effect 2 does exactly this. The game is rendered in 4:3 no matter what you do. If you raise the resolution to a 16:9 format, they just take a small rectangle from the 4:3 and blow it up, but it's shorter and you miss out on a LOT of screen information. Honestly ME1 didn't have this problem, and it was so frustrating that I never picked up ME2 after a few hours of fucking around with the settings as much as i could. It's honestly a damn shame. I know most people might not care, but this is so bad I would never watch Seinfeld on netflix, and I probably wont play mass effect 2 or 3...ever. edit: this also happens in every single SNES game that is on both SNES & Genesis. SNES has smaller resolution so the graphics are always cropped and stretched in comparison (Earthworm Jim, for example). --- ( o _o) ... Copied to Clipboard! |
