I'm really into the flow of this game (I've been exclusively levelling my vitality early as I do in every other Soulsborne game and it's been working well so far). Maybe I'm just used to the series by now, but this feels like the easiest opening I've seen from the series. But I'm also the type to go anywhere but forward in an open world game, so maybe I'm just higher leveled than the people I see complaining. Sometimes, I feel like people overlook the RPG side of these games and miss how much a little leveling can do. Also, I'm not 100% certain how summon signs work in this game - I've only seen two NPC summons so far.
