No, it wouldn't be any different. The discussion should sustain itself. If you're bumping it days, weeks, even months after the previous post, then there's clearly not enough active interest to keep the topic going.

I disagree. Time between two posts shouldn't be judged by the mods. GameFAQs users should be able to reply whenever we are able, as long as we do so before the set lock/purge limit.

There is a difference between reply posts and topic bumps. I do not simply write "bump" or "well". Every post I make is either in response to someone or providing relevant content to the general discussion (topic title)
