Ok, but you need to break this mindset as the default. I'm not telling you that you should walk into every cashier interaction expecting you should hit on the cashier. But you need to break the taboo of "never hit on a cashier because I think they will hate it" and just live your life. You aren't realistically going to see a perfect situation where an attractive cashier is just waiting for you to hit on them and fall in love. But the fact that you close the door at every situation means you aren't ever open for business if there is ever going to be a possibility. That is not a way to live.

Understood. And it doesn't make sense to give you advise to take at bars, especially if you don't drink. In fact, I hope that you don't go to bars if you don't drink. That's kinda weird.

But, it's up to you to find those social channels that you do participate in and figure out how to best interact with the people there and see if there is any compatibility in finding a friendship/courtship.
