If people want their big phones that's fine, but even the budget ones are huge now, and I feel like the budget tier is slowly disappearing overall. I just want my exact phone body from like 2014 but with the performance boosts that come with time.

I just don't get phones I guess. Like they're this thing you basically need now but you're also supposed to buy a new one every year or two but they're priced like a desktop PC replacement but they're missing a lot of the functionality of a PC. I like smartphones enough but you probably don't really need much more than like GPS, but as long as those extraneous apps are available of course I'll use them. Even though they're slowly destroying the social fabric of humanity. Man we really fucked up deciding that everyone should own an always online pocket computer
