As a Pistons fan, I am SO glad this didn't happen, especially if that was an unprotected 1st. I'd much rather have a shot at one of the top 3 picks in this class, Bey and cap space. Not to mention, this is Cade's team now and I don't know if Simmons would be the best fit next to him or in terms of team chemistry.

I dunno how I feel about the trade, think Halliburton could be very good, but is in a weird fit with Brogdon again and I kinda doubt if Fox/Sabonis/Barnes is enough to compete in the west for the next couple of years

I read the Kings are aggressively shopping Barnes. Personally, if I were a Kings fan I'd be alright with the move since what they've had wasn't working. That being said, I'd probably have rather seen them ship out Fox than Haliburton. At least Buddy is off the books.
